Job Title: Industrial Safety Instructor Role & Responsibilities An established Overseas Industrial Technical Institute is seeking a highly competent and dedicated Safety Tutor to deliver comprehensive safety training to our students. This role is strictly focused on teaching and classroom instruction in both online and offline modes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting the entirety of the safety training curriculum within a classroom setting, ensuring all students are thoroughly prepared for industrial environments. Responsibilities Instruction and Delivery: Conduct engaging and effective safety training classes for technical institute students, utilizing both online/virtual platforms and in-person/physical classroom settings. Curriculum Management: Deliver the complete, assigned safety training curriculum, covering all relevant industrial safety standards, regulations, and best practices. Assessment: Administer and grade quizzes, tests, and practical exercises to accurately assess student comprehension and mastery of safety concepts. Material Preparation: Prepare and organize all necessary teaching materials, visual aids, presentations, and handouts for both online and offline classes. Student Engagement: Maintain a dynamic and interactive classroom environment, encouraging student participation, answering questions, and providing constructive feedback. Mandatory Safety Certification: A recognized Safety Diploma (e.g., NEBOSH International Diploma, Level 6 Diploma, etc.) OR an Engineering Certificate with a specialization in Safety/Fire/Industrial/Environmental Health. Proof of certification is required. Language and Communication English Fluency: Fluent in spoken and written English for instructional delivery, material preparation, and professional communication. Hindi Communication: Communicative proficiency in Hindi to effectively interact with and support a diverse student body. Experience and Attributes Teaching/Training Experience: Prior experience in teaching, training, or conducting safety classes, preferably in a technical or industrial setting, is highly desirable. Subject Matter Expertise: Deep and practical knowledge of core industrial safety topics (e.g., Occupational Health and Safety, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, Permit-to-Work systems, Fire Safety, First Aid, PPE, etc.). The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our institute, professionally managing the front desk and proactively engaging with potential students via phone to inform them about our courses and facilities. Role & responsibilities Proactive Calling: Call the provided leads (prospective students) to introduce the institute and its offerings. Course Education: Clearly and effectively educate leads about our technical courses, admission requirements, institute facilities, and career opportunities . Convincing & Counseling: Utilize good convincing skills to motivate leads to visit the institute or apply for a course. Follow-up: Conduct timely follow-up calls to nurture leads and address their queries. Front Desk Management: Greet visitors, students, and parents in a warm, professional, and courteous manner. Call Handling: Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, directing them to the appropriate department or individual.
