OT Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operation Theatre (OT) Technician with mandatory hands-on experience in Orthopedic surgeries. The candidate will be responsible for assisting surgeons during procedures, ensuring sterilization and preparation of surgical instruments, and maintaining a sterile OT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up the operation theatre before orthopedic procedures.
• Prepare and arrange surgical instruments and equipment specific to ortho surgeries (e.g., drills, screws, fixation devices, etc.).
• Ensure strict aseptic techniques and maintain sterile conditions in the OT.
• Support the surgical team during orthopedic operations by handling instruments, suctioning, suturing assistance, etc.
• Sterilize surgical instruments and ensure all ortho-specific equipment is functional and ready.
• Maintain patient positioning and ensure safety and comfort during procedures.
• Help in post-operative clean-up and preparing OT for the next procedure.
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory of OT supplies.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or certification in Operation Theatre Technology from a recognized institute.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in orthopedic operation theatre procedures.
• Sound knowledge of orthopedic surgical instruments and protocols.
• Familiarity with C-arm, traction systems, and implant handling is essential.

Pay: From ₹22,000.00 per month
