OSIsoft PI Consultant

As an OSIsoft PI Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying real-time data solutions using OSIsoft PI, AVEVA, and other data hubs. Your role will involve managing and executing PI system upgrades and enhancements, as well as developing and supporting solutions for integrating PI with L2/L3 systems. You will create custom interfaces and solutions using C# and other relevant technologies, working closely with customers to translate their business requirements into technical solutions. In this position, you will install, configure, and maintain OSIsoft PI Suite products such as PI Server, AF Server, and Interfaces. You will monitor and optimize system performance to ensure high availability and reliability, while also maintaining detailed documentation of solutions and best practices. Preferred skills and qualifications for this role include proficiency in OSIsoft PI Suite, including PI Server, AF Server, PI Vision, and PI Data Historian. Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, .NET, SQL, and API/Adapter calls is essential. Experience with PI AF Analytics, PI Notifications, and PI Event Frames is also beneficial, along with OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System Infrastructure certification. Strong communication, problem-solving, and self-motivation skills are important for success in this role. You should be able to work independently, manage projects with minimal supervision, and engage with peers and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. Maintaining strong customer relationships and staying updated with the latest advancements in OSIsoft PI and related technologies are also key aspects of this position. Must-have skills for this role include OSIsoft PI, PI Server, Implementation, Upgrades, and OSIsoft PI AVEVA. Good-to-have skills include knowledge of Cloud Platforms, Data Visualization, DevOps, and CI/CD.,
