Job Summary:

Orthopaedic Associate Consultant


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert diagnosis and treatment for

    orthopaedic, spine, and musculoskeletal disorders

    .
  • Perform and assist in

    joint replacement surgeries

    (knee, hip) and

    spine procedures

    , ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Work within a unit-based system to ensure coordinated and continuous patient care.
  • Conduct regular inpatient rounds (morning and evening).
  • Assist and independently perform surgical procedures in the

    operation theatre (OT)

    .
  • Attend OPD consultations and manage

    orthopaedic and spine-related emergencies

    .
  • Participate in on-call duties every alternate day and on Sundays, as per rotation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient management.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in

    orthopaedic surgical techniques

    , especially

    joint replacement (knee, hip)

    spine surgeries

  • Strong clinical acumen and effective patient communication skills.
