Position Title: Electrical Site Engineer – Solar (Ground Mounted Projects) Company: Orion Green Energy Location: Project sites across Gujarat Job Description We are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to oversee and execute the electrical installation and commissioning of ground-mounted solar projects across Gujarat. The ideal candidate will be technically sound, field-oriented, and capable of leading site execution, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery of solar PV systems. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage the day-to-day execution of electrical work for ground-mounted solar PV installations. Oversee installation of solar modules, MMS (module mounting structures), inverters, AC/DC cabling, earthing, LT/HT panels, and other electrical components. Ensure adherence to project schedules, budget, safety norms, and quality standards. Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and utility teams for seamless site execution. Verify and ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and applicable codes/standards. Maintain site documentation, daily progress reports (DPR), and material tracking. Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and local authorities/discoms as needed. Conduct pre-commissioning checks and assist in successful system commissioning. Identify and troubleshoot issues to minimize project delays. Qualifications & Requirements Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or relevant field. Minimum 2 years of on-site experience in execution of ground-mounted solar projects (mandatory). Hands-on knowledge of electrical systems, LT/HT connections, and solar system components. Understanding of relevant IS/IEC codes , CEA regulations , and electrical safety protocols . Strong leadership and team management abilities at the site level. Familiar with tools such as MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and project reporting formats. Ability to travel and stay at project locations as required.
