Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

As a surgeon at our dental practice, you will be pivotal in delivering advanced surgical care, particularly focusing on implantology and oral surgery procedures. Your role will involve placing a diverse range of dental implants, ranging from simple to complex cases, and meticulously planning, consulting, and executing treatments with precision. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive implant-specific consultations, including treatment planning and case discussions with patients. - Perform implant placement procedures of varying complexity, such as single-tooth implants, full-arch restorations, immediate implants, and challenging bone/soft tissue cases. - Execute a broad spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including minor oral surgeries like surgical extractions, biopsies, cyst enucleations, and frenectomies. - Collaborate closely with the in-house dental team to ensure seamless patient care and multidisciplinary treatment planning. - Maintain accurate treatment records and strictly adhere to sterilization, safety, and clinical protocols. - Educate patients on surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and long-term implant maintenance. Requirements: - Possess an MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (or equivalent specialization). - Demonstrate strong clinical expertise and a proven track record as an Oral Implantologist. - Proficiency in managing various implant systems and surgical scenarios. - Exhibit excellent diagnostic, communication, and patient consultation skills. - Demonstrate commitment to ensuring patient comfort, precision in procedures, and delivery of high-quality care. - Available for part-time engagement at our Mohali practice.
