Oracle Techno-Functional Intercompany Lead

with deep expertise in

Record to Report (R2R)

processes within the

Oracle ERP Financials

suite. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation, integration, and optimization of Oracle Financials modules, with a focus on

Intercompany Accounting

and

Financial Consolidation

.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end R2R process design and implementation within Oracle ERP Financials, focusing on Intercompany transactions and Global Consolidation.
  • Configure and support key Financials modules including General Ledger (GL), Subledger Accounting (SLA), Intercompany, Payables, Receivables, and Cash Management.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze gaps, and design scalable Oracle-based solutions.
  • Develop Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and coordinate with technical teams for extensions, integrations, and customizations.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring data accuracy across intercompany ledgers and entities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional and technical issues related to Oracle Financials and R2R processes.
  • Participate in testing cycles (unit, integration, and UAT), ensuring system integrity and business validation.
  • Support data migration, reporting (OTBI, BI Publisher), and interface development between Oracle modules.
  • Drive best practices for financial controls, process standardization, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring knowledge sharing and quality delivery.

Required Skills And Experience

  • 12+ years of overall experience, with at least 7+ years in Oracle ERP Financials (Cloud or E-Business Suite).
  • Proven hands-on experience in Intercompany Accounting and R2R process automation.
  • Strong functional expertise in GL, SLA, FAH, Payables, Receivables, Cash Management, and related financial modules.
  • Technical proficiency in PL/SQL, BI Publisher, FBDI/ADFdi, and Integration Frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, multi-entity structures, and global consolidation processes.
  • Experience in solution design, configuration, and troubleshooting complex intercompany setups.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Financials Cloud Certification or equivalent Oracle ERP certification.
  • Experience in global or multi-entity Oracle Financials implementations.
  • Exposure to automation tools, workflow configurations, and third-party integrations.
  • Prior consulting experience in a client-facing leadership role.
