Oracle Commerce Cloud Developer

As an experienced Software Developer specializing in Oracle Commerce Cloud solutions, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You will design, develop, and implement customized Oracle Commerce Cloud solutions using Java, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies to meet specific business requirements. Your role will also involve performing code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and stability of developed solutions. It will be crucial to stay updated with Oracle Commerce Cloud updates, patches, and new features, and evaluate their impact on existing implementations. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members, as well as participate in project planning, estimation, and prioritization activities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of overall software development experience, with 2-3 years specifically in Oracle Commerce Cloud development. Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript is essential, along with hands-on experience in Oracle Commerce Cloud customization and extension. In addition to technical skills, knowledge of e-commerce best practices and principles is required. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills, are also key qualifications for this position. If you have experience with Agile Development Methodologies and Mobile Development, it would be considered a plus.
