As a PLSQL Technical Consultant (Senior) at EY, you will be joining the leadership group of the Consulting Team, playing a key role in supporting client needs in Oracle application development/support using Advanced PL/SQL. Your proactive and solution-oriented mindset will drive you to learn new technologies for client requirements and contribute to the growth of a new service offering. Key Responsibilities: - Support client needs in Oracle application development/support using Advanced PL/SQL - Demonstrate a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, willing to learn new technologies for client requirements - Utilize working knowledge of a source code control system - Interact with senior leaders, understand their business goals, and contribute to the delivery of workstreams Skills And Attributes For Success: - Strong grasp of SQL Concepts such as Group By, Joins, Surrogate Keys, Constraints, Datatypes, and Indexes - Experience in designing and developing Oracle objects and writing SQL queries - Proficiency in creating PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Collections, and Exception handling - Expertise in SQL tuning and optimization using explain plan and SQL trace files - Knowledge of Partitioning, Hints, and Indexing strategy for optimal performance - Familiarity with Direct Load & Conventional Load using SQL Loader - Good understanding of Oracle Database Architecture - Prior consulting experience preferred Qualifications Required: - Computer Science degree or equivalent - 7 to 11 years of development experience - Strong analytical and debugging skills - Good understanding of advanced PL/SQL and performance tuning - Positive and learning attitude, Good Communication, Strong Analytical skills At EY, you will have the opportunity to work on inspiring and meaningful projects, receive support, coaching, and feedback from engaging colleagues, and develop new skills to progress in your career.
