Job Description

As an Oracle Cloud EDMCS Senior Functional Consultant at LSEG, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Transformation program by centralizing financial operations into a single cloud-based Oracle Fusion platform. Your responsibilities will include managing and operating master data using Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS), ensuring high-quality data management practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance function. You will collaborate with the Finance Team to implement and maintain the company's standard Master Data used in all financial reporting, both internal and external. Your role will involve designing master data to align with business requirements, configuring and updating master data, managing the Chart Of Accounts Segment hierarchies, and ensuring system integrity through various activities such as patching and user access management. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of five years of experience in Master Data Management, with 2-3 years specializing in Oracle EDMCS or similar tools directly supporting Finance functions. Proficiency in master data validations, migration of master data structures, and integrating master data with target applications within and outside the Oracle Cloud platform is essential. Preferred skills include experience with Oracle DRM, SAP MDG, or other master data management platforms, as well as functional knowledge of Oracle Financial Consolidation & Close (FCCS), Oracle Planning & Budgeting (PBCS), and other Oracle modules. Additionally, familiarity with the Agile framework and advanced problem-solving skills will be beneficial. As a successful candidate, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Professional qualifications, especially Oracle certification, and excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary to engage effectively with diverse internal teams and prioritize tasks effectively. Your detailed responsibilities will involve working closely with the Finance Master Data (FMD) team to configure Finance master data, maintain the EDMCS Configuration Workbook, run monthly maintenance activities, standardize and automate processes, integrate EDMCS with other Finance systems, and develop and run exception reports to ensure master data accuracy and compliance. Joining LSEG means being part of a global organization with a commitment to driving financial stability, empowering economies, and fostering sustainable growth. The company values integrity, partnership, excellence, and change, which guide decision-making and actions. You will be part of a collaborative and creative culture that encourages new ideas and is dedicated to sustainability across the global business. LSEG offers a range of benefits and support, including healthcare, retirement planning, paid volunteering days, and wellbeing initiatives. Your individuality will be valued, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to a diverse workforce while helping to re-engineer the financial ecosystem to support sustainable economic growth.,
