Oracle Apex Developer

As a Software Engineer (Oracle APEX Developer) at our Neelkamal India Office in Kodungallur, Thrissur, India, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our Oracle APEX applications, focusing on performance, scalability, and security. Specifically, you will design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications using SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and JavaScript for backend and application logic. Your role will involve customizing and enhancing Oracle APEX Universal Themes to align with business requirements, building and integrating APIs (RPC, REST), and using Oracle JET for advanced UI. Additionally, you will troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure the reliability of applications with zero downtime. Your experience with PDA/QR/barcode customization in manufacturing will be valuable as you support and maintain systems across mobile, web, and desktop platforms. You will follow Agile methodologies, manage CRs, RCA, and version controls, ensuring compliance with SDLC, ITIL, ITSM, and risk management practices. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and Oracle JET, with hands-on experience in API integration (ORDS) and reporting tools like Jasper Reports. An understanding of Oracle & MS SQL databases and prior experience in Oracle Cloud-based APEX development is desired. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills are crucial for success in this role. Exposure to manufacturing production workflows and ERP/HRMS integration will be advantageous. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, BCA, or MCA, along with a minimum of 3 years of Oracle APEX software development experience. Professional certifications in Oracle technology will be considered an advantage. You will be expected to deliver high-quality APEX module development and optimize databases, automate manual processes, improve production floor efficiency, create dashboards and reports for business enhancement, and ensure timely project delivery and issue resolution.
