Oracle Apex Developer, Environmental Services Platform

As a Senior Oracle APEX Developer at our client, one of the leaders in Environmental Services in North America, you will be tasked with the seamless migration of the existing Oracle Forms-based application to Oracle APEX. Your responsibilities will include integrating the APEX application with the web application, ensuring single sign-on (SSO) functionality, synchronizing permission settings, and reusing web application UI components within APEX. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide a migration of the Oracle Forms App to Oracle APEX - Develop and maintain integration points between Oracle APEX and web applications, ensuring seamless SSO access - Implement and manage the synchronization of permission settings between Oracle APEX and the web app, ensuring consistent user access levels - Re-use web application UI components within Oracle APEX for a consistent look and feel - Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications to meet business requirements - Optimize APEX applications for performance and scalability - Work closely with front-end and back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions - Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Oracle APEX and web application integration - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the developed solutions and integrations **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle APEX development - Proficiency in Oracle APEX, SQL, PL/SQL - Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap - Strong understanding of SSO mechanisms and integration methods - Experience with web services (REST/SOAP) and APIs - Familiarity with version control systems like Git - Excellent problem-solving skills - Strong communication and teamwork abilities - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively - Attention to detail and a commitment to quality - Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) - Knowledge of Agile development methodologies - Prior experience in synchronizing permissions across multiple platforms Join our team and be part of a collaborative environment where your expertise in Oracle APEX development will contribute to solving complex environmental problems effectively.,
