Optometrist

About the Role-
The role of an Optometrist at Lenskart is different from competing brands and is not limited to only eye check-ups but also includes sales as a critical deliverable. He/she plays a key role in delivering technical expertise through eye-checks,dispensing, and diagnosis as well as selling products, executing stocktakes and SOPs to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome walk-in customers and guide them for the free eye check-up.
• Focus on customer satisfaction and resolve customer concerns.
• Maintain a good customer experience and contribute to NPS.
• Conduct eye tests by following Lenskart’s 12-step Optometry process.
• Explain prescriptions to customers.
• Educate customers about single-vision and progressive lenses.
• Recommend suitable lenses and frames.
• Perform quality checks on fitted lenses before handing over the product.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable eyewear.
• Identify customer needs and suggest the right products.
• Achieve assigned sales and eye-test conversion targets.
• Support upselling/cross-selling through appropriate product recommendations.
• Participate in stocktakes and maintain sales-floor standards.
• Coordinate product pickup and handle return-related concerns.
• Maintain store cleanliness, equipment and stock as per SOPs.

Candidate Profile

• Has a minimum Diploma in Optometry with atleast 1 year of experience as optometrist
• Has strong communication and active listening skills.
• Can build rapport and trustworthy relationships with customers.
• Can understand unstated customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Is customer-oriented and result-oriented.
• Is comfortable with both clinical/optometry responsibilities and sales.
• Can multitask and prioritize work effectively.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
