Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye and vision examinations.
  • Diagnose refractive errors, binocular vision problems, and other ocular conditions.
  • Prescribe and fit spectacles/contact lenses.
  • Assist ophthalmologists in pre- and post-operative care.
  • Perform vision therapy and low vision management when required.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Educate patients on eye health, care, and preventive measures.
  • Operate and maintain optometry instruments and equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Optometry from a recognized institution.
  • Valid registration (if required by local/state medical council).
  • Freshers or experienced candidates can apply (experience in hospital/clinical setup preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of optometry practices and diagnostic techniques.
  • Good communication, patient counseling, and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,853.50 - ₹30,505.61 per month
