Optometrist - Female

As an Optometrist at our facility, your primary responsibilities will include ensuring that the work station and equipment are kept tidy, sterilized, and calibrated for optimal performance. You will be tasked with receiving patients, measuring the corneal curvature, and conducting thorough examinations to determine any systemic illnesses that may affect their eye health. In addition, you will be responsible for checking muscle balance, assisting patients in selecting suitable spectacles, and performing central visual field tests as needed. Your role will also involve evaluating binocular single vision, color vision, visual acuity, and refractive errors to provide accurate diagnoses and recommendations for patients requiring medical certificates. Furthermore, you will be expected to monitor and manage the waiting area, ensuring that all patients are directed appropriately and efficiently, especially during busy periods. You will also play a key role in ensuring patient satisfaction with their corrected vision and prescribed spectacles. As part of the optometry department, you may be required to rotate duties based on departmental needs. This position is full-time, and the work schedule is during the day shift. Relocation to Avinashi Road, Civil Aerodrome Post, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, is necessary to fulfill this role. To qualify for this position, you must hold a B.Sc in Optometry certificate. A minimum of 1 year of total work experience is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
