Use estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBid, Winbid, Bluebeam , or similar tools for bid preparation. Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to validate scope, pricing, and timelines. Maintain documentation of all bids and proposals. Track and analyze bid results to improve estimating accuracy. Stay informed about industry standards, material costs, and labor trends. Required Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial drywall estimating or a related construction estimating role. Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBid, Winbid, Bluebeam , or equivalent estimating software. Strong knowledge of commercial drywall, framing, acoustical ceilings , and insulation scopes. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural construction documents . Understanding of building codes, construction means and methods , and contract documentation. Job Title: Estimator / Senior Estimator – MEP (Work from Office | Full-Time) Location: Okhla Phase-3, Delhi, India Experience Required: 5+ Years in MEP Estimation (International Projects Preferred) Shift Timing: UK or EST based shift Joining: Immediate / Early Joiners Preferred Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Estimator / Sr. Estimator with a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing estimation for international commercial and residential projects, preferably from the U.S. market . The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, evaluating project documentation, and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and competitive bid submissions. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and tender documents for detailed estimation. Prepare accurate cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems including ductwork, piping, and related components. Utilize industry-standard estimation software tools (e.g., Trimble, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar) to quantify materials and labor. Collaborate with the procurement team to obtain competitive pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers . Review and analyze vendor/subcontractor quotations for scope coverage, completeness, and competitiveness. Lead or support internal meetings to review take-offs, risk assessments, and value engineering opportunities. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQs), material take-offs (MTOs), and detailed cost breakdowns. Ensure all estimates comply with project specifications, local/international codes, and company standards. Maintain and update historical cost data for benchmarking and future use. Actively support continuous improvement initiatives in the estimation and bidding process. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 5+ years of hands-on experience in MEP Estimation , especially for international (preferably US-based ) construction projects. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications . Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high attention to detail. Experience with estimation software and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and vendors. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
