Job Description

Interpret and verify optical prescriptions given by the optometrist.
Select appropriate lenses and frames according to prescription, patient preference, and facial measurements.
Perform lens edging, mounting, and fitting of lenses into frames using manual and automated equipment.
Adjust and align spectacles for comfort, proper fit, and optical performance.
Repair, polish, and maintain damaged spectacles and frames.
Ensure high-quality finishing and accuracy of spectacles before delivery to the patient.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of optical workshop and tools.
Maintain inventory of lenses, frames, and optical accessories.
Coordinate with the optometrist or optical sales team regarding lens specifications and patient requirements.
Educate patients on spectacle care, lens cleaning, and maintenance.
Ensure timely completion of orders and delivery to patients.
Follow hospital safety and infection control standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
