Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Ophthalmologist to join our multispeciality clinic. The ideal candidate will provide expert eye care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of ocular conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ocular diseases and disorders. Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, and non-surgical treatments as appropriate. Perform ophthalmic surgeries (e.g., cataract, glaucoma, minor procedures) as per qualifications and clinic requirements. Interpret diagnostic tests such as OCT, visual fields, and fundus photography. Collaborate with optometrists and optical staff for integrated patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinic protocols. Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Participate in clinic meetings, case discussions, and continuous medical education. Qualifications MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution. Valid medical registration and license to practice. Experience in clinical ophthalmology; surgical experience preferred. Strong diagnostic, clinical, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills Proficiency in the use of modern ophthalmic instruments and EMR systems. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
