You are looking for a skilled and experienced Ophthalmic Surgeon to join a hospital in Basti (UP). As an Ophthalmic Surgeon, your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and treat eye diseases, as well as perform surgical procedures to enhance or maintain vision. Your role will involve utilizing your clinical expertise, precision in surgical techniques, and a patient-focused approach to healthcare. Your key duties will include conducting surgical procedures like cataract extraction, glaucoma surgeries, and other ophthalmic operations. You will also be required to perform detailed eye examinations using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment, devise treatment plans for patients with ocular conditions, and collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and other medical professionals to deliver comprehensive eye care. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing post-operative care, monitoring patient recovery, and educating individuals on eye health, preventive measures, and treatment alternatives. To excel in this role, you should possess a medical degree (MBBS) and have completed a recognized residency program in Ophthalmology. Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology is essential, along with a valid medical license to practice in India, specifically Uttar Pradesh. Demonstrated experience in performing ophthalmic surgeries, proficiency in advanced surgical tools and techniques (e.g., phacoemulsification, laser-assisted surgery), and strong interpersonal and communication skills are also required.
