Operator

As a CNC Operator, your role involves operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision metal or plastic components based on specifications. You are responsible for setting up, monitoring, and adjusting machines to ensure product quality and production efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC machines like turning, milling, or grinding machines. - Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders for machining operations. - Load raw materials and verify machine settings before starting operations. - Measure, inspect, and verify finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges. - Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards. - Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting of CNC machines. - Maintain accurate production records, including part counts and machine operation logs. - Ensure all work is done in compliance with safety and quality standards. - Coordinate with the quality and maintenance departments for inspection and machine upkeep. - Report any deviations, malfunctions, or defects to supervisors immediately. Qualifications Required: - ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Tool & Die, or Manufacturing. - 1-3 years of experience as a CNC Operator (Fresher with training will be considered). - Knowledge of G-code, M-code, and basic CNC programming is preferred. - Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools. - Basic computer and math skills. - Attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to safety. - Willingness to work in shifts if required. In addition to the above, the company prefers candidates with experience in operating CNC Turning, Milling, or VMC/HMC machines. Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controllers, as well as basic knowledge of tool offsets, feed rates, and speed adjustments, is also advantageous.
