OpenText Developer - PHP

As a skilled developer, your main responsibility will be to develop, customize, and maintain solutions within the OpenText suite of products. You will also be tasked with implementing integrations between OpenText and other enterprise systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to OpenText implementations, and designing custom workflows and business logic within OpenText platforms. Additionally, you will be expected to develop robust back-end solutions using PHP, Node.js, and related frameworks such as Laravel. Your expertise will be required in designing and implementing database schemas using MySQL and MongoDB, performing data mining and analysis to extract valuable insights, and creating user-friendly front-end interfaces using JavaScript, Vue.js, Vuex, and Nuxt.js. It will be essential to ensure cross-browser compatibility, optimal performance, and maintain a consistent user experience by implementing UI/UX designs. Applying object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to develop maintainable and reusable code, writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and participating in code reviews to improve code quality will be an integral part of your role. Utilizing Git for version control, collaborating effectively with the team, and maintaining accurate technical documentation will also be key responsibilities. Your technical skills should include a strong experience with OpenText platforms and development, proficiency in back-end web development with PHP and Node.js (Laravel), expertise in OOP, strong front-end development skills with JavaScript, Vue.js, Vuex, and Nuxt.js, and database expertise with MySQL and MongoDB. Experience with Git and version control, familiarity with CI/CD, and DevOps practices will be beneficial. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions. Attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot issues will be crucial in this role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be required as you work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
