Job Description

The role of an OpenText Content Server (OTCS) Support Analyst at Teamware Solutions involves managing and maintaining the OpenText Content Server environment within the organization. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the content management system, along with providing technical support to users. You will collaborate closely with IT teams and end-users to troubleshoot issues, optimize configurations, and implement enhancements that meet the business requirements. To excel in this position, you must possess strong technical expertise. This includes a deep understanding of OpenText Content Server architecture, functionality, and features. You should have experience in installing, configuring, and administering Content Server, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and analyzing logs. Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments, network configurations, and database systems like Oracle and SQL Server is essential. Additionally, you should be skilled in integrating OTCS with external systems through RESTful APIs and SOAP, utilizing middleware solutions, and implementing OpenText customization frameworks and xECM extensions. In terms of programming and development skills, you should be proficient in JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, XML, XSLT, and SQL for database interactions. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and GIT for version control is also required. Knowledge of security protocols and compliance standards such as GDPR and HIPAA, as well as experience in managing security settings, user roles, permissions, and access control within OTCS, are crucial aspects of the role. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 5-10 years of experience supporting and managing OpenText Content Server environments. Possessing relevant certifications in OpenText or related technologies would be advantageous.
