OpenShift Platform Engineer

Your role in our mission: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for deploying OpenShift Container and managing cloud solutions in AWS/Azure. Your expertise will be crucial in defining and creating demonstration software and systems to showcase our products and systems. You will play a vital role in troubleshooting and providing answers to moderately complex customer inquiries regarding system software and applications. Additionally, you will test user configurations for system compatibility, ensuring the installation and maintenance of products/systems are up to specifications. Collaborating with engineering groups, you will assist in designing changes to equipment and track project progress and quality to ensure on-time and smooth product launches for our customers. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and supporting cloud infrastructure in AWS/Azure. What we're looking for: We are seeking an individual with 5+ years of expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system installation, configuration, and maintenance, coupled with a strong background in working with OpenShift Containerization. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in container and orchestration tools, particularly Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, with in-depth knowledge of OpenShift specifics. You should demonstrate a proven ability to guide teams in migrating microservices to OpenShift/OpenStack environments and have experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus, and scripting languages such as Ansible, Bash, and Python. Extensive knowledge in AWS cloud platform management, including design, provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting, is required, along with experience in centralized monitoring and logging solutions.
