we do have an excellent job opportunity for the position of
Quantity Surveyor Manager in chennai
- Manage and oversee quantity surveying functions for construction projects
- Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts
- Analyze and interpret project documents, including contracts, drawings, and specifications
- Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements for billing and cost control purposes
- Monitor and control project costs, including tracking changes and variations
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure accurate cost management
- Develop and implement cost management strategies and procedures
- Review and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual requirements
- Manage and lead a team of quantity surveyors and support staff
- Provide guidance and support on cost-related matters to project teams
- Bachelor's/masters degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 2 years in a management role
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam)
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Certification in quantity surveying (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus
