Key Responsibilities: Proposal Development & Quoting – Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and tender responses for commercial & industrial (C&I) solar projects . Solar System Layout & Design – Create preliminary system layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and performance simulations using Helioscope, PVsell, OpenSolar , or similar tools. Financial Viability & ROI Analysis – Perform payback period calculations, Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) modeling, and financial feasibility studies for project assessment. Energy Data Analysis – Interpret customer electricity bills, load profiles, and consumption patterns to determine optimal solar system sizing. Cost Estimation & BOQ Preparation – Generate Bill of Quantities (BOQ), procurement cost estimates, and CAPEX/OPEX projections . Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with sales, engineering, and finance teams to refine proposals and ensure alignment with customer requirements. Compliance with Australian Standards – Ensure pre-sales designs align with Australian electrical regulations, CEC guidelines, and AS/NZS standards . Mandatory Experience: ✔ Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar Pre-Sales & Proposal Development – Strong background in quoting, bid preparation, and technical sales support for large-scale solar EPC projects . ✔ Financial & Project Feasibility Analysis – Experience in LCOE modeling, payback period analysis, and investment return calculations . ✔ Cost Estimation & Procurement Planning – Expertise in EPC costing, BOQ preparation, and material estimation . ✔ Solar PV Design & Simulation – Proficiency with Helioscope, PVsell, PVsyst, OpenSolar, AutoCAD , or similar tools for preliminary design and energy yield estimation . ✔ Electrical & SLD Knowledge – Ability to interpret and develop single-line diagrams (SLDs), system layouts, and grid connection schemes .
