Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain Progress OpenEdge-based applications and systems. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues, working closely within an agile development team. - Continuously improve software development processes and practices to enhance productivity and efficiency. - Work as part of an agile development team, emphasizing close collaboration. Qualifications Required: - A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or an associate degree in computer Programming, or equivalent education in a related discipline is preferred. - Minimum 5 years of experience required with application development and testing. - Proficiency in Progress OpenEdge technologies, such as AppBuilder, Data Dictionary, SmartObjects, and ABL (Advanced Business Language). - Experience with Java or .NET development with strong programming skills. - Solid understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.
