Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the lead engineer on design discussions, idea exploration, and concept development. Create and modify 3D CAD models (preferably in CATIA ) and generate manufacturing drawings . Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for prototype development and production follow-up. Handle 3D printing, assembly, and testing of product prototypes. Perform hands-on work such as part finishing, fitting, drilling, and minor fabrication during prototype builds. Verify and confirm the accuracy, fit, and function of prototyped parts. Assist in procurement of R&D components and materials , and maintain proper records. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and test summaries . Support product issue analysis , service feedback, and improvement activities. Maintain and prioritize a task list , ensuring timely completion of assigned activities. Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Proficiency in CATIA (preferred) or other 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or Fusion 360. Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals , manufacturing processes, and tolerance considerations. Basic hands-on experience in mechanical assembly , 3D printing , and prototype testing . Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and team members. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Self-driven and proactive attitude — capable of handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
