OPD staff nurse

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients attending the OPD and fertility clinic, ensuring high standards of patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality. The nurse will assist consultants during procedures, maintain medical records, and support fertility treatment processes as per the clinic’s protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care:

• Assist doctors during consultations, minor procedures, and fertility-related treatments (IUI, ovum pickup preparation, embryo transfer setup, etc.).
• Perform vital signs monitoring, patient assessment, and documentation.
• Administer prescribed medications and injections as per the doctor's instructions.
• Educate and counsel patients on pre- and post-procedure care.
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure the cleanliness of procedure rooms.
• Manage OPD consumables and equipment; ensure their proper sterilization and availability.

Patient Care & Coordination:

• Coordinate patient flow and scheduling with the front office and doctors.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient records and treatment details.
• Assist in patient education regarding medication schedules and follow-up visits.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain OPD registers, consent forms, and procedure documentation accurately.
• Ensure adherence to NABH and clinic quality standards.
• Participate in audits, training sessions, and continuous nursing education programs.

Qualification & Experience:

• Education: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing (Registered with State Nursing Council).
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in OPD / fertility / women’s health clinic preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
