Key Responsibilities: Prepare HVAC shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings. Interpret HVAC design plans and specifications from mechanical engineers or consultants. Create and update HVAC system layouts, ducting, piping, and equipment placement using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software. Coordinate with other MEP disciplines to avoid clashes and ensure efficient space utilization. Revise drawings based on comments from engineers, architects, or site conditions. Maintain drawing logs and ensure drawings comply with company and project standards. Conduct site visits (if required) to gather measurements or confirm installations. Assist in generating bill of materials (BOM) and quantity take-offs. Work closely with the project team to ensure timely delivery of drawings and design modifications Requirements: Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Drafting, HVAC Design, or a related technical field. Proven experience as an HVAC Draftsman, ideally 2+ years in a similar role. Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of Revit MEP or BIM is a strong plus. Solid understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork design, and basic mechanical principles. Familiarity with SMACNA standards and local building codes. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision. Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork. Preferred candidate profile Experience with 2 D and 3 D autocad drawing. Eperience in operating loopcad software or similar clash detection software. Knowledge of mechanical load calculations and HVAC design tools. Previous experience in HVAC construction or contracting firms.
