Job Title: Online Group Tutor (Class 9 & 10 – Math & Science, CBSE)

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Online Group Tutor to teach Math and Science (CBSE curriculum) to students of Class 9 and 10. The students are divided into small groups of 6, with each group receiving 14 classes per month. Each class runs for 1.5 hours and follows a discussion-driven, peer-learning model.

This is not a lecture-heavy job — we want someone who can engage students, spark curiosity, and facilitate understanding through dialogue, questioning, and interactive learning.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Math and Science to Class 9 and 10 students based on the CBSE syllabus

• Conduct online group classes (1.5 hours each), 5 days a week
• Use a peer-based and discussion-oriented approach to teaching
• Guide students through conceptual clarity, problem-solving, and application
• Provide regular feedback to students and adapt teaching based on performance
• Collaborate with the academic team to maintain lesson quality and track learning progress

Who You Are

• A strong communicator who loves teaching and interacting with teenagers
• Fluent in English and Tamil
• Comfortable using Zoom/Google Meet and digital whiteboards
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience (online preferred)
• Patient, empathetic, and capable of encouraging slow and fast learners alike
• Able to commit to a minimum of 8 months

Nice to Have:

• B.Ed. or teaching certification
• Familiarity with active learning strategies or the assessment-oriented learning model
• Experience in tutoring for board exam preparation
