The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical schematics, control systems, and working knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and PLC schematics. Assemble and wire control panels based on electrical schematics and layout diagrams. Install and connect control panels at customer or plant locations. Perform continuity checks, insulation resistance testing, and pre-commissioning. Assist in PLC wiring, sensor/actuator connections, and field instrumentation setup. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in control panels and automation systems. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and electrical codes. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure timely project completion. Maintain documentation for installation, testing, and service activities. Qualifications: ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in control panel wiring and PLC systems. Familiarity with PLC brands such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, etc. Hands-on experience with tools such as multimeters, wiring tools, and testing instruments. Strong knowledge of panel wiring, cable termination, and field instrumentation. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to travel or work onsite as required. Preferred Skills (Optional): Basic PLC programming or troubleshooting. Experience with HMI panels and SCADA systems. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.). Familiarity with electrical safety standards like IEC, NEC, or relevant local codes. You will be responsible for designing and installing controller system software as a skilled PLC programmer. Your main tasks will include programming PLC software assigned by the company, ensuring completion of assignments within budget and on schedule, and maintaining effective communication with team members regarding project status and requirements. In this role, you will be involved in application development and testing of programs both in-house and on-site. It is essential that you are proficient in logic development, preparing flowcharts, and documenting processes. You will also be expected to accurately complete all programming projects, including control logic and HMI screens, in a timely manner. Additionally, you will provide assistance with on-site start-up and troubleshooting as necessary. Having experience working with different environments such as Omron, Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Delta will be advantageous in this position. Candidates with familiarity in logic development, FBDs, flowchart preparation, and documentation will be better suited for this role.
