Overview : Our client is seeking an accomplished senior accounting leader with 20+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting, ideally in a multinational entity related to electronic design and manufacturing. The Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in financial planning and execution across company’s global business. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in US GAAP and India GAAP, hands-on experience in managing multi-entity operations and the ability to provide strategic oversight of accounting functions to support company’s long-term growth. Key Responsibilities : Accounting & Reporting: Lead a team of accounting professionals, ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation, monthly/annual closures and reporting. Drive process improvements in accounting systems and internal controls to ensure efficiency and compliance. Implement best in class cost accounting processes, ensure accurate measures of product cost and margins. Oversee fixed asset accounting including capitalization, depreciation, and compliance with global standards. Compliance & Audit : Ensure full compliance with US GAAP, India GAAP, and other relevant international accounting standards. Coordinate statutory, tax and internal audits across multiple jurisdictions. Ensure budget compliance through disciplined monitoring of actuals, timely variance analysis and executive-ready reporting Manage transfer pricing requirements, indirect tax compliance, and corporate governance obligations. Ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements across entities. Leadership & Business Support : Partner with senior leadership to provide insights on financial performance and support strategic initiatives. Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, HR and Operations teams to lead annual financial planning and budgeting. Mentor and lead the accounting team, building a culture of accuracy, ownership, and continuous improvement. Support special projects, including ERP upgrades, global accounting standard changes, and process centralization initiatives. Optimize the management to working capital by tracking cash payable and receivables and minimize financial risk. Requirements: Chartered Accountant (CA) with 20+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, cost accounting, audit and compliance. Strong background in multinational accounting operations with exposure to R&D centers, SEZ units, EOUs, domestic service facilities with leading electronic design and manufacturing companies. Proven leadership in annual financial planning, efficient execution and financial risk mitigation. Deep expertise in US GAAP, India GAAP, and international accounting regulations. Proven ability to lead audits, manage multi-entity consolidations, and oversee compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Prior experience in high-growth environments is strongly preferred. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, and ability to thrive in a dynamic global environment.
