We are seeking a talented Silicon Artist with strong sculpting, molding, and painting skills to design and produce realistic medical mannequins. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, artistic creativity, and hands-on experience working with silicone, resins, and other sculpting materials. This role combines artistry with anatomical accuracy, requiring both creativity and discipline to bring lifelike training mannequins to life. Key Responsibilities Design, sculpt, and fabricate anatomically correct mannequins using silicone and other materials. Create and refine molds for mannequin parts ensuring durability and accuracy. Mix, pour, and cure silicone for realistic skin textures and finishes. Paint and detail mannequins to achieve lifelike realism, including skin tones, veins, and textures. Collaborate with product designers, medical experts, and engineers to ensure anatomical accuracy. Experiment with new techniques, pigments, and biomaterials to enhance realism and functionality. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the workshop. Qualifications & Skills Education: BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) or MFA (Master of Fine Arts) in Sculpture, Fine Arts, Special Effects, or related field (preferred). Strong portfolio showcasing sculpting, mold-making, and painting work. Hands-on experience with silicone, latex, resins, and related materials. Knowledge of anatomical accuracy, proportions, and detailing. Airbrushing and painting skills for realistic skin textures. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Creative problem-solving and strong attention to detail. Prior experience in special effects, prosthetics, or medical model-making is a plus.
