On-Site Installation Technician Automotive & Earth-Moving Equipment

The On-Site Installation Technician for Automotive & Earth-Moving Equipment is a full-time position based in Bangalore, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience and an immediate notice period. As a part of the field team, you will be responsible for fitting GPS devices, sensors, and data logger bags on various automotive and earth-moving equipment at client sites across Karnataka and nearby regions. The role demands a hands-on approach and comfort working in industrial and outdoor environments. Your primary responsibilities will include installing GPS tracking units and sensors on commercial vehicles and earth-moving machinery, securing sensor connection bags and harnesses as per standard operating procedures, conducting post-installation diagnostics and functionality testing, coordinating with backend tech and project teams for documentation and system updates, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards compliance, and providing necessary support and training to customer teams. To excel in this role, you should ideally have an ITI/Diploma in Electronics, Automobile, or related fields, along with 2-4 years of experience in on-site installation or field service, preferably in the Automotive or Telematics domain. Proficiency in vehicle electrical systems, GPS devices, and sensor systems is essential, as well as the ability to interpret basic wiring diagrams and follow installation procedures diligently. Physical fitness and readiness to work in outdoor conditions, good communication skills in Kannada, Hindi, or English, and possession of a valid two-wheeler license and personal vehicle are also required attributes for this role.,
