Operations & Production Supervise and coordinate daily quarrying, drilling, blasting, crushing, and screening operations. Monitor production output to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dumpers, and crushers. Optimize crusher plant performance by monitoring feed, output size, and material quality. People Management Supervise operators, drivers, technicians, and other site staff. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide on-the-job training to workers. Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain worker discipline. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Implement and enforce safety protocols, PPE usage, and accident prevention measures. Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety audits. Ensure compliance with statutory environmental regulations and quarry permits. Maintenance & Equipment Management Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance of crushers and heavy equipment. Maintain logs for equipment running hours, repairs, and spare part usage. Minimize downtime through proactive monitoring of equipment performance. Quality & Compliance Ensure aggregates meet required quality specifications for size, gradation, and cleanliness. Maintain proper documentation of quarry licenses, blasting approvals, and compliance reports. Liaise with local authorities, contractors, and regulatory agencies as required. Reporting & Documentation Prepare daily and monthly production reports (tonnage, material dispatched, machine utilization, fuel consumption, etc.). Track inventory of raw materials, finished aggregates, explosives, and consumables. Report incidents, near-misses, and breakdowns promptly.
