We are looking for a Backend Developer who is self-driven, solution-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll play a key role in developing new backend modules, enhancing existing systems, and ensuring our platforms remain robust, secure, and scalable. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks and building enterprise-grade applications. Position: Backend Developer Location: Onsite (Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir) Type: Full-Time Experience: 3–4 Years Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js. Architect and manage relational database schemas involving complex modules such as appointments, prescriptions, CRM logs, invoices, and more. Implement essential backend features: Secure authentication mechanisms (JWT/Auth0) Role-based access control Real-time communication using WebSockets/Socket.IO Geo-location based logic (e.g., pharmacy/lab matching) Integrate third-party services: Video SDKs: Jitsi or Twilio Payment Gateways Cloud Storage: Cloudinary or Amazon S3 Develop reusable modules for: CRM Order tracking Appointment scheduling Notifications Work closely with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams to deliver well-integrated, optimized features. Maintain high standards for code quality, database performance, and API documentation. Requirements: 3–4 years of hands-on experience in backend development with Node.js and Express.js. Strong understanding of relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL; MySQL is also acceptable with strong normalization/indexing experience). Practical experience with: ORMs like Prisma, TypeORM, or Sequelize Schema design, data relationships, transactions Handling JSON data, advanced search, pagination, and filtering Experience with real-time communication tools (WebSockets/Socket.IO). Integration experience with services such as Stripe/Razorpay, Jitsi/Twilio, Cloudinary, or S3. Familiarity with Redis for caching, background jobs, or session handling is a plus. Proficiency with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Git workflows. Bonus Skills: Experience in healthcare, booking, or delivery-based platforms. Built or contributed to multi-role applications with complex permission logic. Exposure to cloud deployments on platforms like AWS or Hostinger.
