Role & responsibilities 1. Accounting & Financial Reporting Oversee day-to-day accounting operations: AP, AR, GL, payroll, inventory. Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Maintain accuracy of books as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS). Monitor closing activities and MIS reporting. 2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax , and other statutory requirements. Manage GST returns, reconciliations, and tax audits. Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and consultants. 3. Budgeting, Costing & Controls Prepare annual budgets and track actual vs budget variance analysis. Implement strong financial controls, SOPs, and internal checks. Monitor cost centers and support management in cost-reduction initiatives. 4. Team Leadership Lead and mentor the accounts team. Ensure timely training, process improvement, and task delegation. Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth operations. 5. Systems & Automation Drive implementation of ERP / accounting software ( Tally / Excel). Ensure digitalization and automation for faster, accurate reporting. Preferred candidate profile Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, and audits. Expertise in MIS, financial analysis, reconciliations, and costing. Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination abilities. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Tally/Excel). High attention to detail and integrity.
