NX Post Processor development / NC Offline Post Processor development

Role Overview: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and testing Siemens NX post processors for various CNC machines, including CNC Turning, Milling, MillTurn, 5 Axis Mill, and all types of Column & Bridge Mill Machines using NX Post Builder/Post Configurator. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the post processors read, convert, and reformat tool path information for specific machine tool controller combinations, enabling efficient performance of all relevant machine functions. This will simplify programmers" tasks and result in the generation of high-quality NC code. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and test Siemens NX post processors for different CNC machines - Work with various CNC machines such as CNC Turning, Milling, MillTurn, 5 Axis Mill, and Column & Bridge Mill Machines - Utilize NX Post Builder/Post Configurator for programming post processors - Ensure efficient performance of machine functions by converting and reformatting tool path information - Simplify programmers" tasks and enhance the production of high-quality NC code Qualifications Required: - Experience in manual and NX CAM programming for various machining applications - Proficiency in code writing using TCL or any of the NX Post languages - Familiarity with developing virtual machines and controllers for program simulation in Vericut NXISV In this role as a Manufacturing Engineer in the Manufacturing Industry, you will play a crucial part in developing and testing Siemens NX post processors to optimize CNC machine performance.
