Job Description

Prepare Dialysis Equipment Set up and maintain dialysis machines before, during, and after procedures.
Patient Preparation Record vital signs, weight, and prepare patients for dialysis treatment.
Monitor Patients During Dialysis Observe patients closely, monitor machine readings, and respond to alarms or complications.
Administer Dialysis Treatments Insert and monitor needles, ensure correct flow rates and settings.
Ensure Infection Control Follow strict hygiene and sterilization protocols.
Documentation Maintain accurate records of treatments, observations, and patient reactions.
Report to Medical Staff Inform nurses or nephrologists about unusual symptoms or issues.
Maintain Equipment Regularly clean, inspect, and service dialysis machines.
Support Patients Offer reassurance and basic emotional support during treatment.
Emergency Response Be prepared to act in case of emergencies or patient distress.

Requirements
Good understanding of dialysis equipment and procedures
Basic knowledge of human anatomy and kidney function
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong observation and monitoring skills
Ability to follow protocols and safety guidelines
Basic computer and documentation skills
Communication skills (to interact with patients and medical staff)
Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
Compassion and patience
