Job Title: Service Manager – Generator Section (Cooper Engines) Department: Service Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing and managing all service-related activities for Cooper engine generator sets. The role involves coordinating field service operations, providing technical support to service engineers, ensuring timely customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate field service activities for Cooper engine generator sets. Provide technical guidance and support to service engineers and customers. Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules. Ensure customer complaints and breakdowns are attended promptly. Maintain service reports, documentation, and performance records. Coordinate with the parts and sales teams for smooth service operations. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all service activities. Qualification & Experience: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 3–5 years of experience in field service of diesel generator sets. Additional Requirements Good communication and customer-handling skills. Ability to manage a team and multitask effectively.
