Job Title: Production Manager Job Purpose: The Production Manager will oversee the manufacturing process to ensure products are produced on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The role involves managing production schedules, resources, people, and processes to achieve operational efficiency and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and control the production process to achieve daily/weekly/monthly targets. Develop and implement production schedules and allocate resources effectively. Monitor production performance and take corrective actions to meet delivery timelines. Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines. Optimize manpower utilization and coordinate with HR for workforce planning. Supervise and guide production staff, providing training and resolving operational issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Design, Procurement, Maintenance, and Stores) to ensure smooth operations. Maintain accurate production records, reports, and analyze data for process improvements. Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices. Monitor machinery and equipment to ensure preventive maintenance is carried out. Control production costs and work on efficiency improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with ISO, EHS, and other industry-specific standards. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Production/Industrial Engineering (or equivalent). 712 years of experience in production/manufacturing (preferably electronics or engineering industry). Strong knowledge of production planning, process control, and quality management systems. Experience in lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma preferred. Leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, coordination, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and production management tools.
