Role & responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging english lessons in alignment with the CBSE curriculum. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to different learning styles and abilities. Monitor, assess, and evaluate students' academic performance and provide constructive feedback. Prepare students for CBSE board exams and competitive exams. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance. Foster a positive and disciplined learning environment in the classroom. Stay updated with the latest advancements in the subject and integrate relevant topics into lessons. Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and school events. Mentor and support students in English-related extracurricular activities like quizzes, and Olympiads. Collaborate with other subject teachers and school administration to achieve academic goals. Preferred candidate profile Masters degree in English. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience teaching English at the secondary or higher secondary level (Classes VI-X) in a CBSE school. Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and exam patterns. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
