Job Description

As a **Network Function Virtualization (NFV) Engineer**, your primary responsibilities will include: - Creating NSD and VNFD descriptors following ETSI NFV standards - Modeling VNF/CNF lifecycle operations such as instantiation, scaling, healing, and termination - Developing automation workflows using Mistral - Integrating workflows with orchestrators like OSM or other NFV orchestrators - Validating descriptor syntax, metadata, charms, day-0/day-1 configurations - Collaborating with the backend team for API triggers and service chaining Your required skills for this role include: - Strong understanding of ETSI NFV MANO - Hands-on experience in writing NSD & VNFD using YAML/JSON - Proficiency in Mistral workflow development - Understanding of VNF/CNF lifecycle management - Experience with Linux, cloud-init, helm charts, and Juju charms (optional based on platform) Nice to have skills include: - Experience with OSM, ONAP, or similar NFV orchestrators - Knowledge of container platforms like Kubernetes (K8s) and networking concepts - Basic scripting in Python/Bash for validation and automation The company has a specific focus on Industrial Operations Engineering. In this role, you will be expected to develop competency in your area of expertise, share your expertise with others, interpret clients' needs, work independently or with minimal supervision, identify and solve problems, contribute to teamwork, and interact with customers.
