NRI Relationship Manager | Kolkata Job Overview : The NRI Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with Non-Resident Indian (NRI) clients. This role involves offering personalized banking services, financial products, and advice to NRI clients, as well as providing solutions to meet their banking and investment needs while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities : Client Relationship Management : Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with NRI clients. Understand client needs, preferences, and financial goals to offer customized banking solutions. Act as the main point of contact for NRI clients, addressing their queries and providing regular updates on their accounts. Provide advice and support to clients regarding investments, remittances, foreign exchange, and other banking services. Proactively engage clients through regular meetings, calls, and other communication channels to maintain and deepen the relationship. Sales and Business Development : Develop a portfolio of NRI clients and expand the customer base by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling banking products and services. Achieve sales targets related to product offerings such as loans, insurance, investments, fixed deposits, and other financial products. Promote the bank's NRI-specific services like NRE (Non-Resident External) and NRO (Non-Resident Ordinary) accounts, remittance services, and wealth management products. Build and leverage networks within the NRI community to generate referrals and expand business opportunities. Product Knowledge and Advisory : Stay up-to-date with the latest banking products, regulations, and market trends related to NRI clients. Offer personalized financial advice to clients, helping them make informed decisions regarding their investments, remittances, and financial planning. Understand and explain tax implications, investment opportunities, and regulations specific to NRI clients. Customer Service Excellence : Provide superior customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient processing of client requests. Ensure that all services provided meet the high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies for NRI clients, including anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements. Safeguard client interests while mitigating risks and adhering to banking norms and regulations. Reporting and Documentation : Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and transactions. Provide regular reports to senior management regarding client portfolio performance, sales results, and other key metrics. Document all client interactions and ensure proper follow-up for a seamless service experience. Education : Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CFP, Wealth Management certifications) are a plus. Experience : Minimum 3-5 years of experience in banking, wealth management, or customer-facing roles, preferably with exposure to NRI clients. Skills : Strong knowledge of NRI banking products and services, including NRE, NRO accounts, and remittance solutions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and NRI clients. Ability to understand complex financial products and offer tailored advice. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance for NRI clients.
