ROLE DESCRIPTION: Technical Services Manager - Dairy Role Definition Provide technical support to sales team and customers in defind geohgraphies of PAN India. Conduct research and field trials. Respond to customer’s technical issues and recommend solutions. Cooperate with R&D to improve products focusing on customer service, product development and species programs for region. Key responsibility is to support sales outcome in partnership, collaboration and guidance from the marketing and sales team leaders in the region, reporting directly to the functional manager. Responsible for All India Dairy Nutrition Business growth , services, demonstrations, research trial to foster organizational growth with prompt customer services, Under supervision from manager, receives a low level of instruction, guidance and direction. General Responsibilities · Partner with Sales team members and distributors to provide technical support in meetings with customers. Assist in identifying additional sales opportunities. Recommend products and solutions to meet customer requirements. Conduct product demonstrations. · Conduct and follow up on market research, field and customer trials. Document trial outcomes and experimental results. · Develop training materials & train sales team members, distributors and customers on technical concepts & products. · Contribute to update and generate product documentation (data sheet, TRS, articles, product presentation, training material) in coordination with Marketing. Provide inputs for products brochures. Update training materials as they relate to use of existing and new products in local markets. Translate product documentation and technical papers as needed. · Comfortable for 15 -18 days travel for extension activities, trials, suppport & collaboration with all other stake holders · Support commercial team in planning, conducting customer’s customer meetings (CCM) regularly to engage and retain key accounts · Maintain close relationships across university and research institutes to build technical network to support to customers and sales teams. Participate in symposium, seminar and other technical events to improve reputation of Novus in industry. · Coordinate with R&D to provide information and product ideas. Actively participate in meetings for global exchange of technical knowledge and alignment of local efforts. Provide technical assistance on trials or other research activities. · Adhere to the Novus Management System (NMS), Novus Integrity System (NIS) and all policies and procedures related to position assignment. General Guidance for Key Knowledge/Skills/ Experience · Master’s degree in Veterinary Animal Nutrition with Minimum 10+ yrs of experience in animal nutrition role / technical services. · Should possess strong working knowledge of current dairy market trends and application systems · Good understanding of animal Health & Nutrition and customer needs in assigned geography. · Self motivated , matured, strong collaboration & strategic customer centric approach. · Demonstrated technical skills in conducting field trials and assessing outcomes. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including effective presentation skills to introduce conceptual products. · Proven analytical and problem solving skills with rapid apprehension in responding to customer needs & value preposition. ROLE DESCRIPTION: Global Procurement Specialist Role Definition Plan and execute purchasing/sourcing in support of global strategic plan for ensuring continuity of supply in raw materials and trading goods. Support and participate supplier audits to meet quality management standards. Under supervision from manager, operates with discretion in decision making. General Responsibilities · Execute transactional direct purchasing activities for raw material, trading goods applicable packaging and indirect purchasing for support of all plants and offices . Also accountable for purchasing raw materials to be used in Global plants. Set up and maintain procurement records. · Analyze and provide market intelligence monthly. · Ensure trading goods and all raw materials in Novus Plants conform to Novus Quality Standard. Investigate and resolve the complaints procurement related and make sure completion timely in IM. · Provide purchasing/sourcing support for Novus R&D, BU and worldwide plants.Continuously reduce cost of purchasing raw materials. Ensure monthly procurement metrics are updated. General Guidance for Key Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience · Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain and/or International Business and 5+ years of related purchasing experience in a multinational corporation. · Demonstrated knowledge foreign trade, understanding of import/export and supply chain processes. · Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications and SAP ERP applications. · Prefer proven understanding of auditing suppliers within quality certification processes and quality control systems. · Ability to deal with internal stakeholders at different levels · Demonstrated ability to work independently · Current knowledge of local and international trade regulations · Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
