Job Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Head of Production to lead and oversee our end-to-end manufacturing operations for bags. This role demands a sharp production strategist with deep industry knowledge, hands-on factory experience, and a strong ability to optimize processes, ensure premium product quality, and meet dynamic business demands. The ideal candidate will be a process-driven leader with a focus on lean operations, team development, and compliance. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Execution Develop and manage detailed production plans aligned with business goals. Ensure on-time execution of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets. Continuously monitor and improve workflow efficiency and delivery timelines. Factory & Operations Management Oversee all aspects of factory operations including manpower, machines, and materials. Coordinate effectively with procurement, inventory, and logistics teams for seamless operations. Drive implementation of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence frameworks. Quality Assurance & Compliance Uphold stringent quality control systems across all production stages. Conduct frequent quality audits and root-cause analysis to resolve recurring issues. Guarantee adherence to customer specifications and international product standards. Cost Control & Resource Optimization Strategically reduce manufacturing costs by minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency. Manage operational budgets, labor costs, and material utilization effectively. Promote adoption of sustainable and energy-efficient production techniques. Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of production managers and floor staff. Build a culture of ownership, performance, and safety throughout the factory. Organize training programs to continuously enhance workforce skillsets and productivity. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct routine safety drills, inspections, and hazard assessments. Embed environmental responsibility into production practices and materials usage. ⸻ Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Manufacturing-related fields. 10+ years of proven experience in factory/production leadership roles – preferably in bags, accessories, or textiles manufacturing. Strong command over lean production methodologies, quality management systems, and workflow optimization. Experience in implementing automation or technology-led improvements in production. Proficiency in ERP systems, production planning software, and data-driven decision-making tools.
