Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jaipur for a Security Officer at Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre. The Security Officer will ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property. Key responsibilities include monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling premises, enforcing security policies, managing access control, and responding to incidents efficiently. The role also involves collaborating with the team to maintain a secure environment and providing support during emergencies. Job Responsibilities: Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, visitors, and employees across hotel and convention spaces. Monitor and control entry/exit of personnel, vehicles, and materials as per property security protocol. Conduct regular patrols of guest areas, back-of-house, parking zones, and event venues to ensure safety compliance. Support large-scale conventions, weddings, and exhibitions by managing guest movement, access control, and crowd handling. Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and fire alarms, following established SOPs. Coordinate with fire marshals and engineering team during fire drills and emergency evacuations. Ensure proper functioning of CCTV systems, DFMDs, HHMDs, and baggage scanners. Report and document all incidents, accidents, and observations in the daily security log. Assist guests with courtesy and professionalism while maintaining strict confidentiality and discretion. Supervise guards and assist in shift deployment planning as per event and occupancy needs. Support the safety team in implementing Accor safety standards, including LPA (Life, Property & Asset) protection and hygiene compliance. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 24 years of experience in hospitality or facility security (hotel/convention experience preferred). Good communication and guest-handling skills. Physically fit with knowledge of basic fire and first aid response. Ability to work in rotational shifts, including night duty and event schedules. Knowledge of CCTV operations and access control systems preferred.
