The mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of manual and hydrostatic drilling rigs and associated equipment. This role involves working in drilling locations to support uninterrupted drilling operations.
Role & responsibilities To prepare and present ToR applications for obtaining ToR approval. To write and submit draft EIA reports and Executive Summary for projects, especially in the mining sector. To present and defend the Final EIA report at EAC/SEAC and obtain clearance. Preferred candidate profile Relevant 2 years experience required in preparing EIA reports Good Communication skills in English GIS and Remote Sensing using ArcGIS, QGIS etc. Baseline Monitoring Perks and benefits As per company policy, will be discussed at the time of appointment.
Should have ability in maintaining , repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment on drilling rigs, focusing on engines, hydraulic systems, pumps, and other essential machinery . Their job role includes performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing and fixing faults, and ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably to support the unhindered drilling operations.
