This role will be responsible for accounting, compliance, donor reporting, and MIS, ensuring robust financial management and supporting the organizations operational and strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure timely closure of monthly and annual books. - Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and NGO/CSR regulations (Income Tax, GST, FCRA, CSR Act, etc.). - Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and stakeholders for audits, filings, and regulatory requirements. - Prepare donor and CSR financial reports, including budgets, utilization reports, and fund tracking. - Develop MIS dashboards and provide financial insights to management and program teams. Other Responsibilities: - Implement and improve financial processes, controls, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects as assigned by management. Qualifications & Skills: - Post graduate degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting. - 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or Finance. - Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and compliance requirements. - Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, financial modeling), and working knowledge of Tally system. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills. - High attention to detail with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate across teams.
