To lead and manage the non-recovery coke oven operations, ensuring optimal coke production, thermal efficiency, and compliance with environmental and safety standards. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and cross-functional coordination. Key Responsibilities: Strategic & Operational Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies for coke oven production. Monitor and optimize carbonization cycles, oven temperatures, and combustion efficiency. Ensure consistent coke quality for downstream steel pipe manufacturing. Process & Technical Oversight: Supervise coal blending, charging, pushing, and quenching operations. Oversee refractory maintenance and thermal system integrity. Implement process improvements to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Environmental & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to pollution control norms (especially emissions from flare stacks). Lead safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency response planning. Coordinate with environmental agencies and internal EHS teams. Team & Resource Management: Lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians. Plan manpower deployment and skill development programs. Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and maintenance departments. Reporting & Coordination: Prepare and present production, efficiency, and compliance reports to senior management. Liaise with vendors, government bodies, and corporate leadership. Support budgeting and cost control initiatives.
